In 1952, A grade lost their semi-final to Uralla. FRANK NICHOLSON (#30) became the first Waratahs player to record a pair. A grade lost all four games to Uralla in the season.

In 1963, ALAN GRAY (#26) and ALLAN COX (#160) added a grade record 164 for the first wicket for A grade v Public Service, with Gray making 94.
