In 1964, Alan Gray (26) made 92 on the second day as A grade chased down Easts 193. Easts had been 5-49 after Brian Roberts made early inroads removing Dick Stewart, John Henderson and Dick MIlls for single figures. Opener Reid made a half century as Little and Trott both contributed to an East recover. After removing the remaining three Easts wickets early on day two, Father Gray was all class, adding 86 for the first wicket with newcomer to A grade Geoff Marshall and 79 with skipper Eric Smith.
