Adith Boreddy is an accomplished young wicketkeeper / batsman currently climbing his way up the internal team ladder of the Parramatta District Cricket Club.

After starring in the Club’s 2022/23 A.W. Green Shield Premiership winning team and making his permanent NSW Premier Cricket entry in Fifth grade, in the same season, he has systematically progressed through the various lower grades to debut in First grade via the Kingsgrove Cup T20 competition in 2026/27.

His first appearances in the Parramatta two-blue bumblebee cap was made the traditional way through A.W. Green Shield competition in 2021/22 and he was described as promising and reliable after making 132 runs @ 33.00 (H.S. – 49*).

But in his second season (2022/23) of Green Shield he performed brilliantly, proving to be an irresistible force with bat in hand or squatting behind the stumps demonstrating his crisp glovework.

His outstanding performances ‘put his name up in lights’ and signalled that he had a bright cricketing future awaiting him in coming seasons. Batting with enterprise and competitive spirit he amassed an impressive 487 runs @ 69.57 (H.S. – 84* v. Wests, 53 v. Blacktown, 62 v. UNSW, 92 v. Mosman, 57 v. Sydney) – he won the honour of being the A.W.G. competitions leading run-scorer.

Also, he kept wickets superbly snaring 17 catches and grabbing 4 stumpings – the most dismissals in the competition, this impressive double made Advith the first Parramatta player to achieve that feat.

For his efforts he won the award of the A.W. Green Shield tournament’s – 2022/23 Player of the Year. He also was rewarded with selection in the NSW Metro U17 Pathways squad.

He comfortably settled into senior cricket in 2022/23 quickly rising from Fifth grade [155 runs @ 38.75 (H.S.- 53 v. Blacktown) and 6 catches / 1 stumping] to play out the season in Fourth grade making 155 runs @ 25.83 (H.S. – 69) and proved to be rock solid behind the stumps holding 22 catches and 1 stumping – highlighted by 4 catches in his initial match in the Fourths.

The 2023/24 season yielded further evidence of the advancement in Advith’s game, he produced an excellent all-round effort. After commencing in Fourth grade his outstanding form with the bat piloted him to Third grade after just six matches – he was dominating in the Fourths top-order batting cracking a stylish 242 runs @ 40.33 – standout knocks being 88 v. Manly and 81 v. Blacktown. He complimented his batting with a fruitful haul of 13 catches and 1 stumping, again highlighting his promise as a wicketkeeper.

However, in Third grade he had to contend with ‘running around in the field’ whilst the incumbent Dhanvi Vemulapalli performed the majority of the wicketkeeping duties. Advith revealed glimpses of his batting potential whilst gaining experience in this competitive level of competition, his output with the blade was 191 runs @ 23.88 (H.S. – 39*). His overall seasonal statistics were very solid – 433 runs @ 30.93 (H.S. – 88) and 24 dismissals (22 ct. and 2 stump). The Third grade team reached the Qualifying Final.

That season also saw Advith selected in the NSW Metro U17 team that competed in the Australian Championship.

The 2024/25 season marked another signpost in this promising young player’s developing career he became a key player in the Parramatta Third grade team that captured both the Minor Premiership and the Premiership proper this provided Advith with the priceless experience gained by competing in a series of tense finals matches. In the Grand Final against St. George, he ‘stood tall’ when Parramatta were in trouble at 4/60, he combined with Ryan to guide the two-blues to the safety of a draw and the Premiership. Boreddy’s 44not out won him the Player of the Match Award.

During the season his wicketkeeping was sharp and alert and his ‘safe hands’ pocketed 27 dismissals (25 ct and 2 stump). His batting yielded a handy 289 runs @ 32.11 (H.S. – 69* v. St. George, 49 v. Sydney University, 44* v. St. George [GF]).

Advith’s representative career continued when he played for the Northern Territory in the National U19 Championships.

His steady advance up the grades continued in 2025/26 where spent the whole season as a resident of the club’s Second grade team. He shared the wicketkeeping role with Jay Noorbergen during the season but still managed 12 dismissals (11 ct / 1 st). But with the bat he was in sparkling form compiling a sizable 448 runs @ 29.87 (H.S. – 91 v. Hawkesbury, 42 v. Blacktown, 40 v. Wests) – he featured in a 163 run 3rd wicket partnership with Will Jarman against Sydney; and a 102 run 5th wicket partnership with Jay Noorbergen against Manly. His consistent batting performances were a key factor in Parramatta reaching the Second grade Semi-Final and brought focus upon him as a potential First-grader in upcoming seasons.

In 2025/26 he won selection in the NSW Metro U19 State Challenge series.

Following on from his previous season’s success he made his First grade debut in the 2026/27 Kingsgrove Sports T20 competition – thus becoming Parramatta District Cricket Club First Grade Player Number: 635.
